Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills making it essential for maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Drive your own vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is ideal not essential though as training provided. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
