We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Parish Operations Support Officer to support the work of four vibrant Church of England parishes in Hackney and Islington: Holy Trinity, Hoxton; St Chad, Haggerston; Our Most Holy Redeemer, Clerkenwell; and St Mark, Clerkenwell. Rooted in the Catholic tradition, these churches are engaged in a collaborative mission project focused on growth, outreach, and community engagement.This fixed-term, part-time role (28 hours per week, xc2xa330,360 FTE) is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied and dynamic environment. Working across multiple sites, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration that enables church life to flourish. From general office support and financial administration to building management, event coordination, and communication, your work will be essential to supporting the mission and ministry of these churches.You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, responsible for maintaining records, databases, and systems, coordinating bookings and compliance checks, assisting with reporting and finances, and producing materials for services and pastoral events. You will also help promote church activities and maintain online platforms.We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and communication skills, a warm and professional manner, and the ability to work independently across multiple priorities. Experience in finance, office systems, and facilities management is essential, while knowledge of parish life and safeguarding processes would be advantageous.This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident and collaborative individual who is passionate about supporting the Church's mission and making a positive difference in diverse urban communities.Closing date: 12 noon, 19th May
