This is a great opportunity for to join the Parks and Green Spaces service in Bristol. Providing formal parks, nature reserves, play area and sports facilities we provide a vital free resource to Bristol citizens, important for the good health and wellbeing of every community.
You will support and deputise for the Area Manager in delivering a high quality recreational parks service for the North area of the city, supporting commercial and trading activities and custodial landlord responsibilities.
You will produce and monitor work programmes and carry out direct line management responsibilities for operational teams; Rangers and Landscape, Construction and Repair Operatives. You will support the volunteering programs and lead event management in liaison with the Events team and external event holders as well as lead on communications and delivery of tasks relating to communities and external stakeholders.
You will support asset management working with lease and licence holders and lead on arranging land use agreements, ensure grant compliance and fulfil delegated responsibility for byelaw implementation. Please see and Person Specification for full list of responsibilities the role carries out.
