We are currently looking for:
Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant (Full-Time): Launch your career with us! This full-time position is perfect for recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute to all phases of project development.
Part-Time Students & Experienced Architects: We also offer flexible and part-time opportunities for students currently in part-time education and experienced architects seeking a different work-life balance.
As a key member of our team, you'll assist in the design and development of architectural projects, contributing creative and detail-oriented solutions that meet our clients' needs. This role offers excellent potential for professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of architectural designs and plans using software such as AutoCAD.
Create 3D models and visualizations using software such as Rhinoceros 3D and Sketchup.
Collaborate with senior architects to develop project schematics and design concepts.
Participate in project meetings, providing input on design ideas and solutions.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
Prepare presentations and graphic design materials for client meetings.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
Support the team in the preparation of documentation for planning applications.
Manage and support the property management of side of our business for the properties we manage on behalf of our clients.
Required Skills & Characteristics:
A degree in Architecture (Part 1 or 2) or a related field.
Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D / Sketchup. (Grasshopper is beneficial)
A good understanding of architectural principles and building design processes.
Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to produce detailed schematics and technical drawings.
Excellent graphic design skills for creating compelling presentations and visual materials.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative design solutions.
Ability to commute to Central London on a daily basis (Monday - Friday)
