Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dependable Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities



Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications. Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project duration. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, or electricians to facilitate smooth workflow on-site. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and secure scaffolding components. Follow detailed plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly of scaffolding systems. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all debris and materials are safely stored or disposed of. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements



Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or welding is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques relevant to scaffolding assembly. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights and on construction sites. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately. Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights. Relevant certifications or training in scaffold erection is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is required. Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
