Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our team. As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems that ensure safety and accessibility on construction sites and street works. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, and bricklayers, etc. to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding with ongoing work. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding components. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding systems to ensure stability and compliance with safety regulations. Assist in the fabrication of custom scaffolding solutions as required by specific project needs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely. Follow all health and safety protocols to minimise risks on site.

Qualifications

Driving Licence and transport essential. 7.5 ton licence an advantage. Proven experience in scaffolding works. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffold construction. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to scaffold design. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods while working at heights. A valid CISRS Part 2 in-date Card is mandatory.
