Duties:
- As a Scaffolder, your main responsibility will be to fabricate and construct scaffolding structures for various construction projects.
- You will read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type and amount of materials required.
- You will measure, cut, and shape materials according to the specifications.
- You will assemble scaffolding components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- You will ensure that the scaffolding is sturdy, stable, and meets safety standards.
- You may also be responsible for dismantling and removing scaffolding after the completion of the project.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, and construction techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise assembly of scaffolding structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during construction.
