We're currently looking for a part qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA or AAT) to join our growing team. If you are looking for meaningful work in a supportive team and the chance to develop your skills across a wide range of clients, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

About the role



This is a varied, hands on role where you'll gain experience across accounts, tax and advisory work while being supported through your qualification. You'll work closely with our experienced team to support a diverse range of small and medium sized businesses across Scotland. You'll build your technical skills and gain valuable client facing experience in a nurturing environment that values learning and collaboration.

Your key responsibilities will include:



Preparing and submitting quarterly and monthly vat returns Assisting with quarterly and monthly management accounts Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns Taking responsibility for managing deadlines and ensuring work is delivered on time Supporting clients with day to day queries and advice Assisting with the training of junior staff members Taking ownership of your development and building confidence in your role

About you



We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in accountancy and a real interest in supporting clients. Attitude is just as important, we want someone who is positive, proactive and ready to be part of a team that's building something special.

You'll have:



Part qualified status (ACCA, ICAS or AAT), recent UK practice experience is essential Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Great communication skills and enjoy working in a team A genuine interest in supporting the success of local businesses
