Loganair operates a comprehensive network of scheduled and charter flights around the United Kingdom and Europe. It continues to grow, and it now has over 850 members of staff, in various departments, including, Engineering, Flight Operations, Ground and Customer Services, Safety and Compliance, Commercial, Finance and Operations. We have stations throughout the United Kingdom.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Parts Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic Purchasing Team in Glasgow. Reporting directly to the Head of Purchasing and Logistics, this permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing surplus inventory and driving part sales across our network.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process -- from identifying surplus stock and advertising it, to negotiating and closing successful transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong B2B sales background and a self-starting attitude who thrives on generating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



Respond to incoming enquiries (email/phone) in a timely and professional manner Record sales in OASES and coordinate invoicing with the finance department Arrange shipments through the stores dispatch team in line with customer requirements Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers Negotiate sales terms and close transactions effectively Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients Gather market intelligence and monitor industry trends Ensure all part sales comply with regulations and export laws Manage core returns and warranty requests Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on surplus stock and sales activity Operate in line with internal procedures and systems

Requirements



Essential:

Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in a parts or technical environment Strong commercial awareness and ability to close deals Excellent communication and negotiation skills Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Numerate and highly organised Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable:

Experience in aviation parts sales Familiarity with airworthiness certificates and compliance documentation Understanding of customs procedures, export licences, and UK Tariff codes Experience with OASES or similar inventory/sales management systems Awareness of supply chain practices and cost optimisation strategies
