Overview


Due to an upcoming retirement, we're seeking a right candidate to join a very successful business as a Bookkeeper / Purchase Ledger assistant.

The successful individual will be excited by implementing and taking ownership of change, and will also have bookkeeping and finance experience, great attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:



Bank:

Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits Recording bank payment transactions Reconciling the current bank account Reconciling the company's credit card

Suppliers:

Operating accounts payable Handling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments Reconciling accounts payable to third-party supplier records Paying regular bills for the company Paying employees' expenses

Cashflow:

Assist with Weekly Cashlow reconciliations

You will have:



Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office A diligent, problem solving and proactive attitude; Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation; Detail-oriented, continuously checks work and takes pride in producing exceptional deliverables. We use SAGE 50 and all the training will be provided
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17 per week
