Job Description

This job would suit someone looking for part time work only. This is not a role for undergraduates looking to join the work force or someone looking for a full time position. Suitable for someone who lives close to the SL3 area due to the daily hours being offered.

We are an independent freight forwarder based Near Heathrow SL3. Due to increase in business we have an immediate position for a part-time accounts clerk/admin role. We are offering a competitive salary in a comfortable working environment and an informal atmosphere. We are looking for approx. 8-10hours per week (4-5 hours per day) but can be flexible on how these hours are arranged (i.e. days and school times etc).

Key Activities



Responsible for sales and purchase ledgers, entering invoices onto Sage Quarterly VAT returns Monthly payroll Monthly bank reconciliation Raising customer invoices Checking off supplier invoices Credit control Supplier payments Filing where needed Miscellaneous office duties

Candidate specification



Ability to work without supervision Strong numeracy skill and computer literate Sensitivity to confidential matters and trustworthiness Previous accounting knowledge and proven bookkeeping experience essential. Knowledge/experience in using SAGE 50 and SAGE payroll an advantage
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
