We are a long-established, family-run haulage company seeking a reliable and motivated
Part-Time Administrator
to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and would like a flexible working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the transport office
Answering phone calls and responding to customer queries
Assisting with scheduling and paperwork for drivers and vehicles
Scheduling vehicle maintenance and keeping compliance records up to date
Ensuring delivery paperwork is accurately recorded ready for invoicing
Scanning and filing paperwork to maintain organised records
Checking driver timesheets and updating systems accordingly
General office duties including filing, data entry, and email correspondence
What we're looking for:
Strong organisational and communication skills
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office experience desirable)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in transport, logistics, or administration is an advantage but not essential
What we offer:
Part-time role: 27.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Flexibility of working hours, to be agreed at interview
Paid at National Minimum Wage
