We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Wymott, a Category C male prison located in Leyland. HMP Wymott has capacity of around 1,100, and has a varied and complex population.
This is a fantastic opportunity support the mental health team onsite, being the first point of contact for the team!
Hours:
This is a full time role, working 18.75 hours per week. Ideally, shifts will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 11:45, although we can discuss alternatives.
Salary:
This position is part time, you'll receive an annual salary of 25,821 - 28,574 FTE per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide excellent admin support to the Mental Health team onsite, acting as the first point of contact
• Manage referrals to secure hospitals
• Liaise with prison departments to obtain required legal paperwork
• Work on the healthcare system (SystmOne) - inputting and updating records, and ensuring all data is accurate and anomalies are rectified
• Booking clinics and appointments, both internal and external
• Liaise with local hospitals for patient appointments and referrals
• Produce escort sheets for the prison
• Deal with SARS as needed
• Dealing with healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times
• Attend meetings and take minutes as necessary

• Experience within an administrative role - experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage, such as a hospital or GP surgery

• Good IT skills, including MS Office
