We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Airbnb Cleaner to prepare our home for short-term holiday rentals. The ideal candidate will ensure that each property is clean, tidy, and welcoming for incoming guests, contributing to a positive guest experience.
The changeover day is normally a Friday, Sunday or Monday, between 10am and 4pm.
This job will be every Friday and some Sun/Mon especially during school holidays, when we have longer stays.
Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy designated areas within the property according to Airbnb standards.
Change linens and make beds to high standard.
Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and supplies.
Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected between guest stays.
Perform thorough cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms.
Vacuum and mop floors as needed.
Manage laundry including washing, drying, and ironing.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the property manager.
Follow detailed checklists and cleaning procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, preferably in hospitality or short-term rentals.
Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of cleaning tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Airbnb or other short-term rental platforms.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic understanding of customer service principles.
