Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any needs they may have. Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently. Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during service. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen. Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance their experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Handle payments and provide accurate change when necessary.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. A passion for culinary arts and providing exceptional service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
