Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring that all equipment is functioning efficiently.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems when necessary. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Supervise and lead junior staff or apprentices in maintenance activities when needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from staff or clients promptly.

Skills

Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Experience with welding techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical schematics is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in supervising others during maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Ability to maintain a high standard of work while adhering to safety regulations.
