Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste to maintain cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in the development of new recipes and techniques to enhance the culinary offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. A passion for food production and an understanding of current culinary trends. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
