Job Summary


We are a fast paced, growing Inspection business committed to delivering high quality statutory inspection services for our clients. We play a vital role in ensuring compliance, safety and peace of mind on behalf of our insurance brokers whom we work closely with on a daily basis. We are looking for a proactive, detail oriented administrative assistant to join our closely working team.

The Role



As an administrative assistant you will work closely with our brokers to provide day-to-day administrative support ensuring that statutory inspections are in force accurately and efficiently to the required need. You will be the key link between brokers, clients and our inspection team ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities



Providing accurate formal quotations to insurance brokers.

General telephone work liaising with brokers and clients to provide updates and resolve queries.

General office administration, formal email replies, issuing of important documentation.

Be keen to learn and provide Technical Knowledge within the role to support clients.

Maintain the company's professional image and reputation at all times when dealing with other members of staff and brokers.

Computer processing of new contracts along with invoice work.

Calculation of Renewals and monitoring own workload.

Be part of the team on Sales visits and Exhibitions.

About you



Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Clean driving license.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.

High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and confidential information.

Confident with Microsoft office (experience with word, outlook and excel preferred) also needs to be comfortable learning new systems and procedures.

The ability to work well in a team but also good independently.

A proactive, reliable team player with a willing to learn new things.

Education & Experience



Administration staff will be educated to a secondary/senior school level or its equivalent. 'A' level standard preferred.

Previous experience in a business administrative role (experience in insurance, sales, compliance or inspection services is an advantage but not essential)
