The role

Known for our exceptional coffee, creative seasonal food and friendly staff, The Old Dairy has become a hub for local communities. Our team are the core of our business, and we are continually striving to improve upon what we do.

We are looking for an experienced chef to join our team. We are people-focused and are looking for an individual who thrives in working within a team and is looking to progress their skills in a chef role.

Candidates must be:

Able to work weekends

Experience of 1-2 years in a kitchen

Organised, a good communicator, able to manage own workload efficiently

Able to work well under pressure

Innovative, creative and determined to be the best

Genuinely interested in our products and passionate about food

Well-presented and happy to work in an open kitchen

Adaptable and a good team player

Responsibilities

Working your own section during service

Stock control (being responsible for own section and communicating orders to Management)

Work closely with Front of House team to ensure all services are delivered to a high standard

Cleaning of kitchen and all food preparation areas

Ensuring compliance with food and health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.90 per hour

Experience:

Chef: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
