We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe + Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a member of our cafe team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that food and beverages are prepared and served to the highest standards.

We are looking for candidates who can bring a mix of week day and weekend availability. The role is open to all ages.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is necessary. Previous coffee training or Barista experience is necessary. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Bartending experience is a plus for those interested in beverage service. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. A proactive attitude with a willingness to help others and take on various tasks as needed. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
