Overview

Charnwood Community Care is a small family-run care company prioritising high-quality care for our service-users. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Thurmaston (LE4). You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to a lady in the comfort of her own home.

This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in your care. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided - we are interested in the type of person you are. Hours:

7-8:30am

12-12:45pm

17-17:45pm

The times are for 5 days out of 7. Working days to be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each client's specific needs are met. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements

Driving license is essential.

Must live in Thurmaston (LE4)

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required. Due to the needs of the service-user, you must be female.
