Overview

Are you a compassionate and reliable individual with a passion for providing high-quality care? We are currently looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in a warm and welcoming care home setting.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to residents throughout the day Carry out regular wellbeing checks in line with residents' care plans Assist residents with mobility and repositioning as needed Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs Support residents with bedtime and morning routines Ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity and respect Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent care delivery Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable Ability to drive or access reliable transportation to reach the care home Proficient in English, both spoken and written Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues effectively Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care Compassionate nature and willingness to provide high-quality care Basic IT skills for documentation purposes NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.51 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
