We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic
Catering Assistant
to join our friendly and hardworking kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital part of school life - providing healthy, high-quality meals that support our children's learning and development.
As a key member of our team, you will help ensure that lunchtime is a positive, enjoyable experience for all of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and clear the dining area, including moving and arranging furniture
Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and beverages
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Support the cook in charge and collaborate with the catering team
What We're Looking For:
A positive team player with excellent communication skills
Someone who can build good relationships with both children and colleagues
Good customer care and a professional attitude
The ability to work well under pressure and show initiative
Previous catering or food prep experience (desirable but not essential)
Food hygiene certification (training can be provided)
