Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all dishes are served on time and meet quality expectations.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
Strong leadership qualities, capable of making decisions under pressure.
