Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a flair for creativity in the kitchen. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Create and develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant's unique identity. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for hospitality and guest service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in menu planning and development is advantageous. A culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential. Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
