Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and restaurant operations, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring high standards of culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing creativity and culinary skills. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and kitchen protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and kitchen management. Experience in supervising kitchen teams and managing staff effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
