We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance oversight
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Innovate menu options and contribute to menu planning and development
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly
Lead by example in fostering a positive, organised, and professional kitchen environment
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with strong team management skills
Extensive culinary experience with knowledge of diverse cuisines and techniques
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and management

Pay: 12.42-13.00 per hour
