We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing culinary creativity and skill.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
Implement food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with management on menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients.
Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations.
Previous experience in food production is essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
