The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity in food preparation and presentation. with an ever developing and rotating menu, we are looking for a chef with an open, innovative mind. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety to deliver exceptional dining experiences. We are a small intimate Bistro with an emphasis on quality and service.
Duties
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with management on menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order.
Respond to customer feedback with professionalism and adaptability.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a kitchen environment.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent management skills, with the ability to work and collaborate with serving staff effectively.
Proficient cooking skills, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
Extensive culinary experience, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sectors.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices..
Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
