We are seeking an experienced, talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team on a casual as and when basis to provide additional support for upcoming functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with excellent leadership skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as individually. As a Casual Chef, you will play a pivotal role in kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to hospitality and culinary excellence.
Responsibilities
Participate in all aspects of food production and preparation in the kitchen.
Create food to a high standard
Ensure efficient operations with food service
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for cooking
Strong communication skills, to effectively interact with team members
