Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food production, with a flair for creativity in the kitchen. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and managing a team. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with a focus on food preparation and production processes. A passion for food, creativity in menu design, and commitment to quality service. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.

Pay: 12.21-15.50 per hour
