We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise resources
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment, including equipment maintenance and sanitation routines
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Experience in menu creation, food innovation, and cost control is advantageous
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates committed to excellence
