Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team on a part time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, along with excellent leadership skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes while ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to food safety standards and an ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring high-quality standards are met Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain stock levels Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service Develop new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food preparation

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role with strong kitchen experience Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent food preparation skills with attention to detail in cooking Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration
