We are seeking a passionate foodie chef to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, and a drive to work with the best seasonal ingredient. A background in hospitality and restaurant environments is highly desirable, we are a friendly family owned business. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service times and optimise guest satisfaction.
Assist in developing new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Maintain a positive working environment that encourages creativity and professionalism.
Experience
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
