Responsibilities
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation processes.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure that all dishes are served promptly and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
Skills
Proven experience within a kitchen environment.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Proficient in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence.

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in fast-paced environments.

Lone working is often the case.

This Position is Part Time and the hours are weekly
Monday 10am - 3pm
Friday 12 midday - 8pm
Saturday 12 midday - 8pm
We also do a lot of events and sometimes need catering midweek.
The kitchen is often a one man team.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
