Responsibilities
Lead the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently produced.
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety practices, and cleanliness standards.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and foster a collaborative work environment.
Monitor food production processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling food costs, and minimising waste.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail in both taste and presentation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operational needs.
