We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team for every Saturday and for holiday cover and for our speciality evenings twice a month.PLUS URGENT COVER FOR THIS WEEK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen experience, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supervising kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and a team of professionals. Wages and hours to be discussed

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned. Provide exceptional hospitality to guests through attentive service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities, with a passion for mentoring junior staff. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A creative approach to menu design and presentation.
