We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to Join our kitchen team at Luna Blu Tapas and Cocktail Bar in Yarm. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and safety while inspiring the team to deliver memorable dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities -
Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards.
Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards.
Develop new menu items that reflect authentic Spanish cuisine and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or Head Chef in a busy restaurant environment, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
Creative culinary skills with an emphasis on Spanish cuisine or similar styles.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred.
