Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team, contributing to the success of our cafe/restaurant located in Largs. This role involves working closely with our Head Chef as well as independently on the Head Chef's days off.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff and manage food production to maintain quality and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service. Maintain inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications

Culinary experience and proficiency in cooking techniques Strong food preparation skills and knowledge of food safety standards Previous kitchen and restaurant experience Leadership abilities and experience in team management Supervising experience in a culinary environment Excellent hospitality skills and a passion for food production
