We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Chef/Cook to join our small friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating quality meals in a welcoming environment.
Duties
Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
Requirements
A proven track record in a similar chef or cook role.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines and meal types
Previous experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations essential
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings when required
Smart appearance, uniform provided
