Summary

We are seeking a part time Chef/assistant 2 to 3 evenings a week to join our friendly kitchen team at Italian Cottage. In this role, you will support the Head Chef in food preparation and production, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position is crucial to maintaining our reputation for excellence in Italian dining.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant environment is preferred but full training can be given or possibly an individual at catering college looking to gain experience Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
