Job Description
The Role
As a Christmas Sports Coach & Holiday Club Worker, you'll help deliver exciting, action-packed days full of sports, games, and activities for children aged [4-12]. You'll work alongside our experienced coaches to create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and assist with fun, engaging multi-sport sessions
Supervise children during sports, play, and lunchtime activities
Support with daily camp setup, registration, and pack-down
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and fair play among participants
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and child welfare
About You
We're looking for individuals who are:
Enthusiastic, reliable, and great with children
Confident leading or assisting in sports and games
Team players who can bring energy and positivity every day
Essential Requirements:
Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, or childcare)
A passion for sport, fitness, and youth development
Clear Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable:
Coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Level 1, UKCC, PE/Sport-related degree)
First Aid or Safeguarding certificates
