Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Part-Time Class 2 skip Driver to join our team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials within designated routes. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 2 license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment while contributing to efficient logistics operations.

Duties

Safely operate Class 2 commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies Transport goods, materials, or equipment to various locations as assigned Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of transportation activities Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery times, ensuring timely arrivals Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed, following safety protocols Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management Follow all safety procedures and company policies during daily operations

Experience

Valid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record Previous experience operating commercial vehicles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a professional manner
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
