Longhurst's Laundry & Cleaning are a small and unique local business, with a dedicated owner, who set up the cleaning business 6 years ago as a mum to a young child. Our aim is to provide the opportunity to all employees to receive flexible work/life balance, especially those with children or who have other commitments, and may find it hard to find a typical day-to-day job.

What can you expect from a typical working week at Longhurst's?

Most of our staff work anything between 4-30 hours, depending on their availability.

Hours may build up gradually, usually about 10-15 hours and increase once reliability has been proven and training has been completed. We can then advertise additional cleaning slots to fill your days up.

Our team travel within the serviced areas;

South Wirral, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Deeside

. Carrying out cleaning for a range of clients; busy offices, family homes, working professionals, elderly/disabled etc.

You will be expected to carry out cleaning duties to a very high standard (to include toilets!) You must be presentable and friendly and be a great team player to complete all cleans and to ensure our clients are satisfied.

We would love to have you on the team, we have a very small team of domestic & commercial cleans who are deeply valued and not just a number. We offer regular hours, optional overtime, holidays, flexibility within the schedule for time off to view your children's Christmas nativities for example, or to attend that important event. We pay for ALL time spent working; training, cleaning & travel time.
