Part Time Site Cleaner - Join the Team at Piglets Adventure Farm!

Piglets Adventure Farm is a vibrant farm park located on the outskirts of

York

. We are dedicated to providing fun-filled outdoor experiences for families with young children, offering a variety of activities such as tractor rides, play equipment, and famous seasonal events like Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

We are seeking a friendly and reliable

Part Time Cleaner

to join our team. This role is perfectly suited for someone who can work later in the day as the park closes down. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring that our public facilities remain a safe and enjoyable place for families to create memories.

Responsibilities:

As the park winds down for the day, you will be responsible for the "reset" of all public-facing areas (

note: this role does not include animal/livestock areas

):

Public Areas:

Maintain cleanliness in the Play Barn, retail shop, and undercover seating areas.

Sanitation:

Ensure all surfaces and guest toilets are deep-cleaned, sanitized, and restocked.

Event Support:

Assist with tidying away equipment and prepping event spaces for the following day.

Safety:

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.

Excellence:

Collaborate with the team to uphold the farm's high standards, keeping the environment tidy and inviting.

Requirements:

Timing:

Must be available for late afternoon/evening shifts as the park closes.

Experience:

Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.

Detail-Oriented:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure a "sparkling" finish.

Reliability:

You must be punctual and able to work independently as the site empties.

Attitude:

A friendly, customer-focused approach and a "can-do" work ethic.

Transport:

Due to our rural location and evening finish times, a driving license and your own transport are
