School Cleaning Operative - Sidcup DA14 4PX

Variable hours to cover sickness and holidays only

Start Date: 2nd September 2025

Are you looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Role

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for:

Keeping school facilities clean and hygienic, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas. Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces. Ensuring restrooms are cleaned and well-stocked. Helping to create a positive, safe space for learning.

What We Offer

Pay:

13.23 per hour.

Hours: Various to cover sickness and holidays only

(shifts allocated will be Monday to Friday, 3:45PM - 6:15PM, term time + 4 additional weeks = 43 weeks per year).

Training:

Full training provided - however previous similar experience would be preferred.

Uniform & PPE:

Corporate uniform and PPE provided

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Committed to high standards of cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Based locally in or near Sidcup, with suitable transport for the school location.

Requirements

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and applicants must be able to provide the necessary documentation for us to arrange this on their behalf.
