At Green Fox Cleaning, we are seeking an

experienced and highly reliable

cleaning supervisor

who takes pride in their work to lead and motivate our friendly school cleaning team in Lewes.

You will be responsible for supervising the successful cleaning service delivery across a large school close to Lewes High Street and team of 8 cleaners, and also visiting a nearby junior school which is a 12 minute walk or 3 minute drive away, on two evenings per week to inspect the cleaning standards (initially Tuesday and Friday but the regular days can be agreed with the successful candidate)

Working shift times will be as follows:

Monday - 16:30 - 20:00 Tuesday - 16:30 - 21:00 (includes visit to junior school) Wednesday - 16:30 - 20:00 Thursday - 16:30 - 20:00 Friday - 16:30 - 21:00 (includes visit to junior school)

You will be working 34 weeks term time and a further 3 weeks deeper cleaning in school holidays.

What will my roles and responsibilities be?

Managing a team of cleaners Ensuring the highest quality cleaning service delivery every single day Inspecting cleaning standards, identifying issues and resolving Inducting and training of new staff Locking and securing the large school building at the end of each shift.

If you have a solid track record of supervising a team and enjoy a challenge, and are able to take responsibility and own any issues to resolution, we'd love to hear from you!

We will provide full training around all aspects of cleaning, the safe use of chemicals (COSHH), safe manual handling and all other essential training to keep you safe at work.

Please note as this is a school cleaning vacancy, annual leave can only be taken in the school holiday periods when deeper cleaning is not taking place.

Pay: 14.50 per hour
