About the Role
We're looking for compassionate individuals to become integral members of our dedicated team. As a Community Care and Support Worker, you'll have the meaningful opportunity to visit individuals in their homes and within the community. Your role may include:
Supporting clients with personal care, including washing and dressing
Assisting with meal preparation and medication management
Providing incontinence care with dignity and respect
Helping with errands, household tasks, and meal planning
Engaging clients in enjoyable activities like walks, cinema outings, and bowling
Organizing delightful day trips to local farms and attractions

Areas We Serve
Join us in providing exceptional care and support in Central & West Kent, including:
Our care visits typically last between 30-60 minutes, designed for your efficiency and the clients' needs. We also provide longer support calls ranging from 1-7 hours. Your compensated hours include contact time with clients, travel time, and reasonable waiting time (paid for up to 20 minutes). Any waiting beyond 20 minutes is treated as a short unpaid break, ensuring fair pay for your valuable time.
Flexible Working Patterns
We offer extended care calls primarily between 9 AM and 4 PM. We also have morning shifts from 6.30am and evening shifts from 4/5/6pm allowing for adaptability to your availability throughout the week.
Company Car
To ease the burden on your personal vehicle, we provide company cars for your shifts. Simply collect the vehicle at the start and return it at the end of your workday. Each car is equipped with a fuel card, so you won't have to worry about fuel expenses. If using your own car, we offer mileage reimbursement of 22p per mile, or 44p if you're driving a companion care visit.

Qualifications
NVQ in Health and Social Care (or a willingness to pursue)
A valid UK Driving Licence
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Strong communication skills
Experience in community care is advantageous but not required
Basic IT skills are beneficial
A proven track record of effectively supporting individuals in need
