We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computing Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners, while also addressing their individual needs through tailored teaching methods.

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of future generations and supporting their emotional and social development.

Duties



To lead, manage, and be accountable for delivering and developing the computing curriculum throughout Key Stages 2, 3, and 4 in order to achieve the highest possible standards of pupil progress and attainment.

To be accountable for student progress so that each individual student achieves their optimum level in computing and ensuring that effective strategies are in place to further raise standards of student attainment and achievement.

To ensure the provision of an ambitious, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum which is carefully planned and sequenced.

To be vigilant about digital literacy and internet safety; teaching learners how to stay safe and what to do if they are not sure.

Other duties include:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Utilise behaviour management techniques to create a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning. Mentor and guide students, providing support for their academic and personal growth. Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behaviour, ensuring effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress. Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes equality among all students.

Skills



Excellent mentoring abilities to guide students effectively through their educational journey. Capable of making the subject accessible and enjoyable for young learners. Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques to maintain a harmonious classroom environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues alike. Must have Qualified Teacher Status.

This role is for 2 days a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15,000.00-18,000.00 per year
