We are seeking a dedicated and passionate keen cook to produce good wholesome food for our 12 diners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages.
Provide support during service periods by assisting with plating and serving dishes.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential.
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices is highly desirable.
Culinary experience or relevant qualifications would be advantageous but not mandatory.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
